Smart, easy to use program with excellent food database

"Diet Organizer tracks food intake and exercise for weight loss, maintenance, or to track specific nutrients for specific diets. For weight loss you choose the amount of calories per day you want to reduce and the program estimates the expected rate of weight loss. Or you can choose to track carb/protein/fat percentages. Exercise is tracked on a separate screen. The summary screen puts it all together, you can customize what your health requirements. Customizable Charts and Reports show your progress graphically and can be used to track weight, body measurements, carb/protein/fat percentages, exercise, or BMI. These features are useful for seeing relationships between your diet and exercise and results. The food database is extensive and simple to use and includes alot of restaurant and fast food items. Find food items by scrolling through categories, searching or create custom menus. You can build new food items by selecting ingredients and edit existing items. One of the best features about this database is that it converts a wide selection of quantity sizes, each food item has a good choice of measurements such as oz, tsp, cup, portion, etc. Good ?Help? feature. You can backup and restore your data. I really like this program, it doesn?t try to do too much and what it does do, it does well. It is simple to use but is also highly customizeable, you can even change the display colors. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I want to customize my food database. This is possible in Diet Organizer but all new and edited items are placed together in a seperate category called "added/modified", not in the regular food categories."
